Final Figure Drawing

This is a 100 minute charcoal drawing of a male figure where there is a strong light source at the top right. There is a good pose shown in the image as the person seems to be leaning to one side and also they have tilted their head. Also there are many great highlights on the face and a large tonal variety in the values. There are some strong highlights on the side of the face and there are also some subtle highlights around the eyes and mouth. There are also some good hues shown on the scarf as it is draped around his neck. There is also some contrast between the colours and changes in hue on the neck and bottom of the cheek and this create a strong terminator line. There is good proportion in the image. Even though it is not a full body image there pose and structure of the bones can be seen from shoulder to shoulder, and the curvature of the spine.
